HPE's D6000 Disk Enclosure brings loads of direct attached storage to your network with support for up to 70 LFF hard drives in a 5U chassis. This in-rack platform delivers a cost effective direct attached storage (DAS) solution with end to end 6Gb/s SAS connectivity for high-performance storage. Two pull-out drive trays support a maximum of 35 LFF drives each for 70 LFF drives total. Easy to use management software enables rapid deployment and configuration of the storage devices to support your workload. When attached to a BladeSystem enclosure, with the Virtual SAS Manager (VSM), drive bays can be directly assigned or zoned to individual blade bays using SAS 2.0 zoning capabilities - without moving a single cable. Redundant hot plug power supplies and hot plug fans ensure continuous up-time. This system can also provide direct attached storage for other third party servers.
