In addition to the 12x 3.5inch storage bays, the Tyan Thunder SX TN76B7102 B7102T76V12HR-2T-N2 server also supports dual M.2 storage devices and general-purpose graphics processing units (GPGPU) for support of graphics intensive workloads. With memory at full capacity, the system is capable of supporting up to 3TB of 3DSregistered (RDIMM) or load reduced (LRDIMM) memory modules. Using standard RDIMM memory modules the system will support up to 768GB or up to 1.5TB when using LRDIMM modules.

Featuring an AST2500 base management controller (BMC) this system is designed for use with open-source software and interaction with other third-party vendor hardware. It’s also Redfish API compatible for at-chassis and remote management of the system.
